Janet Jackson? *NSYNC?


Justin Timberlake is flying solo at the Super Bowl this Sunday.


I had high hopes Janet Jackson and *NSYNC would make an appearance with JT during his Halftime Show, but the pop star confirmed in a press conference on Thursday that the only collaborators taking the stage with him is his band.


"To be honest, I had a ton of grand ideas about special guests," Timberlake told reporters.


"We talked about it a lot. There was a whole list...I think Vegas has a lot of odds on it, I heard, from 'N Sync to Jay to Chris Stapleton to Janet. But this year, I'm just excited, my band, the Tennessee Kids, they're my special guests and I'm excited this year to rock the stage. So it's gonna be a lot of fun."

The Super Bowl is cancelled. NOT bringing out Janet is a bigger mistake than the wardrobe malfunction. Low-key OK with holding off on another *NSYNC reunion, but JANET?! Just wrong.


I sense an Internet meltdown coming.

Well then, no reason to watch it. Seriously he doesn't deserve the spot at all, his new music is awful and if he doesn't do anything to rectify the whole Janet thing... he's just a complete douche. How do people not see through him? His solo career only took off because he used Britney and Janet for controversy. He would have to do NSYNC reunions right now if it wasn't for the two of them.

I’m glad she isn’t. The only way she steps on that stage is to have her headline the show and have him as a guest. 

They can really make up for it if there is a “wardrobe malfunction” when she “mistakenly” rips his pants that’s supposed to reveal an underwear but his naked small wiener is exposed.
