To buy tickets yeah the resales are more expensive than what the ticket normally is but some are really good and around the price they go for.

I've put in for a refund via TicketMaster - they give you a 72 hour cooling period to cancel.. there are a few terms and conditions but I think I'm good

Are you asking for a refund or just reselling? And how do you go about asking for a refund if you didn’t buy ticket insurance?

Oh ok, I guess it’s a UK policy because I saw that if we resell on the US site that we can get the money 7-10 days after the tickets sell.

If you think it’s worth it then go for it. However you need to assess the risk that by the time the refund is back in your account in 5 days if the resale tickets are still there. If you wanna take the risk then go for it!
