I think the tour club was run by ticketmaster. I called Wednesday night with a question (using the number on the Tour Club's website) and was connected to Ticketmaster Artist Services (or something similar to that).

When I called yesterday it said Ticketmaster on the automated system but the rep said they were separate. It mentions LiveNation on the website, but no where a mention of TicketMaster (I get that that they're affiliated, though).

I understand ppl being upset but I don't see a petition changing much. There was never a guarantee you'd get certain seats. Especially when it was the same presale day that plenty other ppl had. If they had said oh sign up for this on Tuesday and the fan club presale will be from Tuesday to Wednesday before venue presale on Thursday and u still didn't get seats, then that's different. Unfortunately that's just how presales are. It's all luck unfortunately :-(

Well that's just the point! i don't think most people (myself included), had any idea that you could just try your luck at Ticketmaster that day and pay the extra money on the spot. I could be wrong but I didn't see any indication that was going to be option.

Of course no guarantees, but the way it was set up and handled was really unfortunate. Look at the LiveNation presale - you couldn't unlock it without a code. They didn't have an option to "pay more money" to unlock it.

Maybe it was different for different venues and also very different for Live Nation. Because for my venue they said check back on Thursday at 10 am for the social media presale code. So when I got the email from Britney's site saying oh sign up for this fan club and you'll get a presale code for Thursday at 10 am I was like well why would I pay that when I'm already getting a presale code from my venue the same day and time for the same access for free? But I guess Live Nation didn't make it clear that the venues and Ticketmaster were already sharing presale codes?

Presales never guarantee a ticket. This is common knowledge. The shows would be sold out before general sale if everyone could buy tickets with a code. You get the code for early access to a limited amount of tickets and get a t-shirt and venue upgrades as well.

If everyone who has a code was able to get a ticket, the shows would be sold out already. Her teams only fault is underestimating demand and booking smaller venues that aren't able to accommodate.
