I was rooting for Camila tbh, her music has been fire since she left 5H, the album was kinda underwhelming cause I expected some uptempos for a change.

Tbh, it makes total sense. Summer hits are usually released around March-May.

We tend to forget that GP is not checking forums like us & discovers new songs only later, in clubs, on the radio, youtube, in the supermarket etc... Then there's the word to mouth, obvz. Sometimes a song needs MONTHS to become a hit. 

I remember discussing with a guy from a label telling me that, sales wise, the best time to release an album (not necessarily to get a #1 album) was September, November, March and May. Between May and August, it's really risky because albums sell less. Glory says hi.

I totally believe in an early spring release!
