Britney has reignited her partnership with Pepsi.





Britney has reignited her partnership with Pepsi.


OH MY GOD is my brain tired of speculating over what exactly Britney's secret project is (low-key living for the rumors).


This latest round of chatter feels like the closest we've come to a logical explanation: Britney will star, or be featured in, a new commercial for Pepsi set to air during the Super Bowl.


Here's what we know:

• Britney just announced the Piece Of Me tour kicking off this summer. It's sponsored by Elizabeth Arden, who handles Brit's multi-billion dollar fragrance line, and, get this... PEPSI!


• Pepsi recently launched their "Pepsi Generations" campaign. Via a press release, they describe the initiative as "a celebration of the brand's rich history in pop culture for 120 years." They add: "The Pepsi Generations campaign will celebrate the best moments of our past, create new iconic moments for today and set the stage for an exciting future, allowing Pepsi to be the choice for decades to come." Needless to say, Britney produced some of their most iconic commercials and advertisements of all time.


• It's worth reminding you Pepsi is the company responsible for putting on the halftime show at the Super Bowl. That means they will have an overwhelming advertising presence that day.


• Britney's iconic "Joy of Pepsi" ad will be featured in Pepsi's upcoming Super Bowl ad highlighting some of its most famous moments, Bustle reports. Perhaps it will transition into 2018ney.







• In the a photo taken on the set of the secret project, Britney is wearing a pair of overalls. Look familiar?







• And after a stalkery inspection of the same photo, fans believe Britney has the Pepsi logo, or some variation of it, painted on her fingernails. I need to go outside.





 




 


What's left unanswered? Well, besides what the hell the secret project is?


• Why did Britney include apple and flower emojis in her original post? Unless it's a commercial for another new perfume with apple and floral scents (SMH).


• Why is there a sign with Japanese writing in the background? Maybe they're tying both tour sponsorships into the advertisement?


• Where is the Famos surprise?


 



 


There's another rumor floating around the secret project would be an announcement of a world tour, and while that may still have some truth to it, we know she went ahead and did it via Instagram today.


This is where I normally include her iconic "you'll have to wait and see" GIF, but you know that already.

This would be ICONIC!!! I would love it if she teamed up with Pepsi again.... omg loves Pepsi. 

Btw, did anyone translate that Japanese sign? I asked a guy who is like "ok" with Japanese and he thought it meant something like "my secret place/ room/ spot" or something and he knows nothing about Britney or what Piece of Me is, I did only zoom in on the sign as well. But when he tried to read it, I instantly thought of POM and that it could be some mysterious thingy related to that which Britney might came up with.

It’s probably an Apple Music commercial advertising her tour to be exclusively available for viewing on Apple Music. Also, seeing as Pepsi is sponsoring the Tour they’re probably gonna be in the advert as a ‘Pepsi and Apple Music partnership’.
