Im starting to really hate being a Britney fan :'(

This is going to be a really honest post and I know people who can afford to go to Vegas will probably reply to this giving me stick and the 'aw but it makes her happy, vegas is an amazing' thing bullshit so please don't bother.

I have been a fan for 17/18 years now but even I'm going to admit, I'm starting to really hate being one. I love Britney and always felt loyal to her. But I am getting sick to death of her team getting my hopes up only to disappoint me. The whole 'world tour' thing has been constantly online, and yet no f---ing word from her  team. She teased a 'secret project' back in November and yet still no word. And I stupidly get excited then nothing happens. I'm now just assuming a tour isn't going to happen and another residency will be announced and  the people who can afford to go will be jumping up and down on this forum going 'YEAHHHHHHHH at least  shes happy. if you're a true Britney fan you would go' and I'm sick of it now.


I'm thinking of taking a break from this forum to be honest. because I'm just bored of the rumours. And the rumour today that she is going back to Vegas has now put the nail in the coffin for me

Why aren’t any of you patient? It’s been less than two weeks since she ended POM like give the ***** some time? There are some fan bases that YEARS in between eras and new records etc. and we flip when a rumor isn’t confirmed within a week or two. Britney is a human and a mother before anything else so just let her be a human for once instead of thinking y’all are entitled to her as a pop star that needs to satisfy your entertainment 100% of the time. We already have an idea this will be an ambitious year for her so just enjoy the break and when her and the label are ready to announce everything then they will.

I get that and my problem is not even Britney. its her team not saying anything. Every day since last month there's been constant rumors and her team is saying absolutely nothing!!

Just about to say this. I'm dead at ppl thinking things are going to change. The new show will be just like Pom. B10 will be mentioned once and that's it. 

What I'm doing going forward is being very picky on what I support of hers. I collected all her perfumes until Maui Fantasy but now have stopped supporting Fantasy. I won't go to Vegas unless is DWAD like (which we know it won't) just don't keeping funding them. 

Honestly Gaga will destroy Britney's sales anyways. She spend all of 2017 improving her overall brand

i get being disappointed but its not like u are being forced to support her career. if u aren't happy with the music dont listen to it, if u dislike the show she puts on dont buy a ticket, its very simple. some of u are way to invested in britney, her lack of motivation for her career shouldn't affect u guys as much as it does and these "i have been a fan for 17 years!" threads are kinda pathetic. britney is still gonna sign on the dotted line for 2019, halfass her shows, make as much money as possible all while not giving a damn and u guys will continue to complain about it on her forum. her career is not her priority anymore, she doesn't care so why should you?

I know is not that great being a Britney fan nowdays but I think I´m starting to get use to it. I´ve never seen her live but I had the luck of being a teen while she was in her prime and it was amaizing. If you are a teen now I´m sorry this is all you´re gonna get from her, but I do feel like they don´t give a damn about the fans and that´s why I pay for a Britney product when I think It´s worth it.

it's been since 2011 we had an era. An album with 2 MVs and no tour is barely called an Era tbh:tiffcackle:

so uhm yeah we have been waiting for YEARS.

I honestly don't think you've been a fan for that long if you're dissapointed now with the things you said. It has always been like that. There were even bigger rumors years ago that were never confirmed or denied by her team. She JUST finished the residency, it's obvious she's not ready to announce anything, she's relaxing. Rumors for Piece of Me were online for 7 or 8 months before the official annoucement was made. She teased a 'secret project' to keep us interested, but she never said anything about a date. It could be ANYTIME, later today, tomorrow, one month from now, or even 6 months. 

Just let the girl have a good time. I'm the first one to say she has been lazy, she needs better choreos or to sing live, but right now it's rest time. She needs time to think about everything, spend with her family, and then focus on her job again. 

You need to relax. Period.
