I'm always down for a new Britney song, but I'm kinda content for the time being. A new Britney album is such an awesome, special time. I like that they're a little further in between, I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas when they're announced for release!

I'm always here for new Britney music but:

is it me the only one that refuses to have new music while POM isn't in its 200% finished? 

POM should stay in Vegas where it belongs, she has just confirmed that Denmark show as a POM show and I hate she doesn't completely get rid of it. 

B10 deserves to have its own era and she should leave this Vegas era in the past.

I’m pretty ok waiting. It’s a lot easier nowadays to find new music I like thanks to streaming services. I’ve been jamming out to other music in the mean time. I always look forward to new Britney music though. I seem to always listen to her music the most and the longest, even though I listen to a lot of other music too. She was my top streaming artist on Spotify in 2017 and she didn’t even release any new music then. I still listen to songs from Glory regularly.

As others in this thread said, a longer wait leads to more excitement and more of a build up. Also, it gives her time to experiment with more music and make a better album. Britney Jean was so uninspired, just like the music of the time, but worse. But music trends changed and a LOT of good music came in 2015-2016, and Glory followed those trends and none of those trends sound dated yet imo. Giving some more time in between Glory and the next album will allow it to be fresher and develop a new style (although I still love Glory’s style so much).

I want her to take her time with B10 and maybe actually care about it a little. Rushing an album out won't get those results. If she wants to do like, I don't know, one stand alone single while she takes POM on the road, then cool, do that. It'd probably be best if she is going on the road with nothing but her hits. But yeah, I agree with most here-- I can wait.

I still prefer waiting for Brit, releasing music out of nowhere without purpose like Ciara and JLo kinda ruins it, and sometimes their singles suck anyway. Britney hardly makes a bad song, thank god.

She needs a banger to replace Snore ***** if she's doing a tour. She also needs to grab people's attention after Glory... As much as I love that album. I actually hope B10 is an extension of Glory but it would be good to have a few bangers as singles. We get new music, she gets a new song to shake her pu$$y to. Its a win-win

9 albums, countless unreleased songs/demos and you're thirsty for new music? It's the same mentality that bashes her when she leaves an album to die ala no promo. And I can't with some here who are pissed that she's doing a European tour after the POM residency ended. Do you honestly see her performing any differently under a different moniker or if she did a world tour with a different setlist? Not much is going to change just pray for prerecorded vocals and a "making of" documentary showing her recording in the studio. That's really all we have to look forward to in the future, and good music of course! Let it go people. Let it go.

How does having new music not change anything? She will be performing new material with new choreography and will freshen up POM if she is taking it on the road. Would you rather see POM as is or with new music and choreography?

So she'll add two new songs to the setlist with a new form of "armography"? I remember waiting 4 full years for a studio album from 2003-2007, yeah Britney released a greatest hits with 3 new songs and a mini LP with Chaotic that had 3 songs and a new song (And Then We Kiss) on her remix album in 2005. But for 4 year there wasn't a studio album with 12 standard songs or a properly promoted era. Bottomline...just chill lol you never not get anything from Britney between eras.
