JT's new album has a country tinge to it.

Justin Timberlake's new album has a country tinge to it.

Word on the street is that JT's record will hit early 2018. In case you're living under a very large rock, it's 2018 in just a few days. Do I have to spell this out for you? IT'S VERY SOON!!!

His new single reportedly hits Jan. 5. It might be titled "Fresh Leaves." Read more about that here.

What does it sound like? That part remains a mystery, but Rolling Stone did shed some light on it. In their new print issue, the mag quoted a source who had high hopes for the 20/20 Experience followup, which is rumored to be named Man of the Woods.

It "pushes boundaries in ways you don't expect," they said. "It's gonna have a lot of hits." They also confirmed a collaboration with country star Chris Stapleton.

A separate source confirmed JT is planning an arena tour. "It's going to be humongous," says one promoter. To put things into perspective, his the 20/20 Experience world tour earned $230 million. No doubt Justin will top that.

Anytime a pop act decides to go the country route it flops so I'm interested to see how this plays out.

I mean, it's just one (maybe 2) song(s). I don't think he'll be that brave to release a full-on country record; even if he wanted to, his record label probably wouldn't go for it. I don't understand his appeal, to be honest. He's not better than the Ushers and Bruno Mars of the music industry, who relied on their talents alone to sell records. Justin, on the other hand, had to get to top with controversies (some of which he stills refers to or resorts to with silly little gimmicks where he thinks he's being all clever and cute).

He might be successful but it seems no one really gives a damn about him especially since there’s so many new artists that can trump him. I’m sure he is aware of this hence him collaborating with other artists that’s not black because he knows people are bored of him. People here give Britney **** for being irrelevant but at least she’s discussed in the media for changing the face of vegas while Justin only gets acknowledged for number ones and stats but like any artist can get that, it’s nothing special. I believe he is running out of ideas and grasping at the straws in my eyes.
