To be honest, looking back I think it was obvious that  even Britney knew that it wasn't her best album. She probably was pushed into releasing it to promote her Vegas residency,

if you compare it to the interviews she did for Glory, its obvious she was more enthusiastic and excited about Glory and probably knew in herself  Glory was a much better album

Think that was to promote the FF tour. Like "What's the best thing about your new tour?" "6 or 7 costume changes... they're very cool." 

 

"How's the dancing?" "Awful."

"The live vocals?" "Non existent." 

"The audience interaction?" "I let some of them on stage, but my dancers protect me so it's OK."
