Who Else Thought That Glory Era Would Be Everything From Private Show?

But I think you got the timeline wrong. The ad came out BEFORE the Make Me... song was released (the ad was teased on July 11th, full ad on July 13th, MM came out on July 15th although we had some snippets sung by that Brazilian guy lol). Then the full PS song came out on August 4, with the pre-order of the album.

Tbh, here we started to get signs that this was gonna be messy. I remember that she kept very secretive about the MM song, and I though, why is she announcing Private Show, with the perfume, and the ad, and a new song on the ad, when MM isn't even out yet? Like, instead of giving its time and place to each song, they just threw all together at the same time.

I think they should've released Private Show way before the album, not as a lead single, but as the promo single it should've been. It was very different and almost laughable, but it was cute for the ad and the perfume. They should've released a videoclip for the full song and sell the single with every purchase of the perfume. Then, later, release MM as the lead single after the buzz of PS, and include PS on Glory only as a bonus track.

Despite everything, I really thought it all was very promising. The songs really sounded "artsy-farsty" to me, she looked marvelous on the PS ad and the MM cover for the single. We had seen the BTS pictures of the original MM video and that interview with E and she looked fantastic. Who would've thought that in this weekend when MM came out, she was shooting the official MM video somewhere else? Like, as the Glory era was being born to the fans and the media, she was already preparing its death at some studio with that Randee. :otears:

I thought PS was ok. I like it a lot more now but I wasn't overly impressed with MM or Private Show or Clumsy so I was a little worried actually. It wasn't until DYWCO was released that I had more faith. Now I love all those songs way more but at the time I was a little disappointed.

That photoshoot was everything! It could've been a cover for the album

Yeah more disappointing cause there was so much promise of something great at first. I get why they just gave up on it, it was a mess before it even came out so why do a third single :( her team NEEDS to get it together for B10, it’s so embarrassing for someone of her level
