I honestly thought that commercial was a joke the first time I saw it, precisely because of that line OP mentioned. It seemed so cocky and not what I was used to at all from Britney. Plus, I expected more since the "Curious" commercial was gorgeous.

But it's been hit and miss since then, the "Radiance" one is absurd, but "Fantasy Twist" and "Private Show" are great.

Oh yeah , going into a fortune teller store and saying she doesn't need guidance. like wtf 

 

and private show is actually one of the greatest commercial she ever made for her perfumes.It would've been better if they use the sunset fantasy music on itPrivate show is kinda over high pitched for me.

The low quality footage they used for the tour and the way it's just pasted into the commercial, doesn't fit at all!

That’s because it’s outtakes from the curious commercial lol

she didn’t show up to the shoot at all. It was a body double that did everything.

Damn I didn't realise that!  Do you know if she was she actually scheduled to show up then, or was it always intended to be a body double?

Oh no I didn’t realize it either! Until in college our professor got us into a post production facility that does color corrections and they showed us the raw footage the girl didn’t look like Britney at all either lol.  They told us that Britney didn’t show up at all even though she was supposed to so the body double that was just meant as a stand in became the star lol I think the place is called spy post.

I got to play around with the color of the footage though! The original was brighter and light like it was daylight even though it’s in the studio. A classmate of mine made it even more like daylight but I made it more blue and night time. The tech guy said that it is close to what the client wanted, I kept quiet and didn’t want to let everyone know I was aware of the commercial.

Wow, that's so cool you were able to play around with the raw footage like that and hear some insider info. They did well considering she didn't show then.

It was just supposed to be a place that she hid from the paparazzi. She wasn’t supposed to be going there on purpose. But it was stupid they had her sit down at the table.
