She stayed simple and kind that’s why love her. Her soul is too good and pure for Hollyweird… she’s too connected to nature and spiritual and just too real for this corrupt fake and capitalistic place. It’s her choice to stay there for the moment and her house is beautiful, but I feel like she could be happier in Hawaii, or somewhere in Europe or South America. -
I don't hate her but always felt she is very overrated. Her music sounds like music you'd hear at Kohl's. She does have a few bops but I don't find a lot of her music catchy. I find her songwriting hard to relate to; I can't relate to being an angsty teen angry about a boyfriend being mean or whatever lol. My favorite album is probably Reputation because that album has actual exciting production compared to her other albums. She's sugar without the spice, unlike Britney. -
I've heard Britney's songs a million times, and while I love them I also want to hear new music from artists with a similar sound. Who would ya'll say it Britney's closest alternative right now in terms of sound? My vote would be Charli XCX, Crash feels like an album Britney would make with it being mostly bops. She's also a vocal Blackout stan and some of her albums really show inspiration she got from Blackout. I think another obvious choice would be Selena Gomez. Some Selena songs sound almost exactly like Britney songs and vice versa. I'm pretty sure they are both offered each other's songs because of how similar they are. I'm not sure if Selena is still active in music but her last album was 2020.
