I'm still trying to figure out if those are spaceship noises or submarine noises on 13 beaches 

but yeah, it'd be nice to have a ballad with music like ****** or Cherry, or even Groupie Love

I think Kieron Menzies and Dean Reid did the beats for those songs. Rick Nowels and Lana worked on the synths, bass, and other production stuff. I agree, I loved LFL's production but my favorite producers that Lana has worked with will always be Dan Auerbach and Emile Haynie  Britney and Emile would make good music together; he did all the stuff on Born To Die except Video Games, I believe.
