storm
Does her team order the tracklist with all the singles (or what were going to be singles/really good songs) near the beginning of the album on purpose? BOMT 1. BOMT 2. Crazy 3. Sometimes 5. BTMYH 6. FTBOMBH Out of 11 OIDA 1. Oops 2. Stronger 3. Dont Go Knockin 5. DLMBTLTK 6. What U See 7. Lucky out of 12 Britney 1. Slave 2. Overprotected 3. Lonely 4. INAGNYAW 5. Boys 7. ILRNR Out of 12 ITZ (doesnt exactly follow this) 1. MATM 2. IGTBB (was supposed to be 2d single I think) 4. Breathe On Me (She definitely wanted this one) 6. Toxic 7. Outrageous 12. Everytime Blackout 1. Gimme More 2. Piece Of Me 3. Radar 4. Break the Ice Out of 12 Circus 1. Womanizer 2. Circus 3. Out From Under (supposed to be 3rd single) 6. If U Seek Amy (Britney's choice) Out of 12 Femme Fatale 1. TTWE 2. HIAM 3. Inside Out 4. IWG 12. Criminal (Fan choice) Out of 12 Britney Jean 1. Alien (Britney wanted) 2. Work ***** 3. Perfume 4. ISBE (i remember reading something about how this wouldve been the 4th single if it got that far) Out of 10 Glory 2. DYWCO 3. Make Me 4. Private Show 7. Clumsy 8. Slumber Party Out of 12 I see a vague pattern and I was wondering if there was a reason this is so and how all the fillers or not so good tracks are usually left for the end? Link to comment
Guest riccus
I remember once she said 7 is her lucky number and that's why she put Lucky on the 7th position on Oops... I actually feel more connected to 7th songs on each album because that's usually Britney's secret favorite track. Link to comment
BoyToySoldier
This is a common industry practice in pop music. The singles usually are slotted into the first half of an album. Link to comment

BOBIBCFBG
Yeah record companies usually put the singles first so when someone is reading down the track list they see songs they know and like. Link to comment
