Something that low-key pisses me off is the fact that

when Slumber Party was released as a single with Tinashe, they rereleased the album on iTunes with Tinashe's version of the song and got rid of the old album without her feature. 

There are many things wrong with this:

#1 It gets rid of the option for buying the original song, obviously.

#2 She had over 1,000 ratings, which showed that her album did spark some interest with the general public. All proof is gone now given that RCA did this, making the project look more like a fail than it already does. 

#3 It's takes away the option of releasing it separately with that beautiful single cover with her in the red jacket and dress. It could have made more impact as a single if sold by itself.

Did anyone notice this?

I never paid attention to the rerelease. My digital Glory and my physical have the original version of Slumber Party. I never listen to Tinashe’s version and I never watch the video either.

They did that to attempt a boost for the album sales. Releasing it as a standalone single wouldn’t have given the album more promo. Doesn’t change the fact that it was terrible decision, catalog wise.

Because when the GP watches the video and likes the song, they’ll search for it on iTunes / Spotify / Apple Music and instead of just the stand alone single popping up, the album comes up which gives an incentive to listen to it. And if they like the album, they’ll stream or buy it.

That was such a mess. There were like 8 versions of the album on iTunes, and it wasn't easy to find the one with Tinashe, and then they removed completely the one without Tinashe. Ridiculous.
