I always thought they were more "friends" than anything else. I mean they're not really friends but they know each other since they are 16 or something and had a similar career in a way... But I don't think she is really inspired by Beyoncé. She admires her but not in the way she does with Janet, Michael and Madonna lbr

She did previously cite Whitney as an inspiration a lot, which makes sense considering she even used her song to audition for record labels.

But realistically, there are zero similarities between Britney and Whitney. Looking back at Britney's most memorable performances, I would be very surprised if she hadn't been heavily inspired by MJ.
