I don't know, but as awful as it sounds, being single was the best that could've happened to her, at least at that moment.

It was the best she's performed in years. I don't know what being on a relationship / being single has to do with her performance skills, but we started to see her performance level dropped a bit ever since she started her relationship with Sam.
