The Internet Already Hates Tinashe’s New Single “Light The Night Up”

Tinashe's new single "Light The Night Up" is... something.

House-electro-'70s disco pop is one way to describe it. Yes, it doesn't sound like anything else out there right now, but I'm going to have to side with the Internet on this one: it's garbage. It's as if Tinashe wants nothing to do with "2 On" or anything she previously recorded for Joyride (where is it doe?) and had some seriously high pressured meeting with RCA execs who forced her into some bubble gum bs. This just doesn't work.

And it pains me to say this because I am a Tinashe STAN (long before she aligned with the princess of pop), but I know a bop when I hear one and this is an intruder.

It's not clear yet what this song is for, but it doesn't appear to be the first official single.

i was having that problem yesterday too. It also wouldn't allow me to up vote without the page reloading and I wasn't able to quote. It's working fine for me now tho
