question about Mood Ring's lyrics

They didn't but Britney sings that there's nothing on her body but the mood ring. She turns to golden from blue, and the only thing about her (on her) that has the ability to change colors is... her mood ring

So as I already said, Britney may be also getting really emotional about falling in love...

She was blue because she was relaxed and not troubled, she turned golden once she started falling for the guy, which unsettled her because of the mood change and she's obviously trying to fight temptation as she doesn't want to fall for him which troubles her

I thought she's talking about an actual moodring. When body heats up, it gets lighter, like blue, doesn't it? At least that's what I heard. I heard it turns dark when the body is cold.
