After re-reading the first post saying there would be a collab and then this one, back and forth, I honestly think that Timbaland is thirsty for a collab. I mean he didn't have a hit in years and maybe he wants to come back with a bang through this collab. He's the one who went on a like spree on IG, he's the one feeding the rumor so that would make more sense this way.  It wouldn't surprise me if there were negotiations going on as we're speculating whether or not this collab exists.
