The Britney Army has lost any hope that the princess of pop will release a third single off her impeccably perfect ninth studio album, Glory, so fan-made remixes will have to do.

The latest audio delight to bless us #Godney is an acoustic re-working of "Love Me Down" by Britney-Online.net member IfUSeekMe. It's fierce.

The thumpy bass is stripped out and replaced with sugary drums and a sweet guitar melody. Britney's tinny vocals are the remix's real highlight; her airy riffs and ad-libs in the original are masked by Andrew Goldstein's production gymnastics, but in this acoustic rendition they take center stage. The song is a masterpiece one way or the other.
