I actually think she started to look weird precisely in that videoclip. Something looked different, probably the eyebrows or the haircut. And the leotards weren't very flattering.

The Director's Cut is so much better, just because of these scenes

She looks stunning there, but we only get to see that for like 3 seconds.

So I was having my usual Britney youtube binge and 3 came on :unbelievableney:
I  really need another video like 3, just close-ups of her, minimalist themed vibes throughout the video.
One of the most beautiful videos of her before FF began  :jfallonlol:

Yes, one of the best music videos of her career.

Yes, this ungrateful fanbase probably trashed it back then along with everything from the Circus Era and karma hit back on them and now they have POM:weusay:

Sfaksbakavaj same:tiffcackle: I couldn't sleep this night. But yeah, a lot of people have the nerve to claim that the iconic circus tour isn't good:bichpls:

As a whole era prefer the ITZ one but I prefer the Circus Tour over the Onyx, wbu?

I just love the how Circus thing. It was just such a good comeback because her life really was a Circus and I loved the promo performances for Womanizer and the whole ringleader thing. I love both Onyx and Circus tours but I like Circus tour more just because of the whole Circus feel and I think I prefer Circus era more than ITZ. Both iconic eras tho. We got Toixc from ITZ and the iconic Circus tour from Circus.

I personally don't hate the Circus era. Obviously it was the most successful post-breakdown Britney era and had 2 big hits (though I was never fond of Womanizer the song). My problem with it is that Britney was too off limits from her audience during the era. She didn't had M&Gs during the tour, she barely interacted (there wasn't a single time she welcomed her audience to any of the tour dates). Definitely it was the era that alienated her from her fans, even her Twitter account was handled by Adam her manager (and was the one who was constantly tweeting from it). :whitneyshade:

Regarding the performances for the tour, she was very reliant in arm movements and walking around. No live vocals (except for the You Oughta Know performance). But I actually appreciated that tour because of how expensive it looked. There's effort in the staging, design, special effects, costumes (she's wearing stilettos for heaven's sake). And I'd rather have that kind of concert, where she's thrown here and there, easy choreography, with actual props because at least you know you paid for something. unlike her recent tour that was totally stripped down (minimal props, ridiculous costumes, no special effects) which means bulk of what you paid for was for Britney's talent fee when she showed hardly any of it as she only lipsynched while doing zumba choreography.

PS

her Circus tour dancers are the hottest imo. :thirsty:

I thought the Femme Fatale or BJ era was the one where she lost her fans? People still loved during Circus right?

No sweetie. She just "alienated" her fans not necessarily lose them, kind of like being out of reach or not accessible. Definitely she still had a strong support from her fans as the Circus Tour was completely sold out (except for the Australian dates). To be fair though I think she does lose her fans from era to era and gain some new ones. Although evidently for FF up until Glory, she lost more supporters than gaining new fans.

Oh I get what you mean. But I think it was what was best for her. She really wasn't completely ready to be in the public eye so she had to be alienated. Is The Circus era the era that made every one think she's a product? I still think Circus was a very strong comeback
