No question Jlo's music career is lackluster.  But she's getting respect one way or another by doing pretty successful NBC shows and producing other shows.

Assuming Britney still has her country accent, I think she could pull off a very dynamic/entertaining animated character in a movie, in addition to having her music career.  You look at a lot of her peers, regardless of what you think of their acting abilities, they are venturing out into other areas right now whether its Gaga, Rihanna, Jlo etc...

It's important for artists with longevity to expand their fanbases across different generations.

Shep's Q-Sound mixes on that album are great. The ones for Holiday, Lucky Star, Borderline, Material Girl, Crazy for You, Papa Don't Preach, Express Yourself, Cherish and Vogue are better than the original album mixes.

These are the issues, and facts no matter What anyone says:

Her team is a HUGE problem, they market her as a nostalgia. During the BBMAS they had THE PERECT opportunity to premiere MM, What did they do? THEY REMOVED IT, and then gave a horrible explanation that there were technical problems.... How much problem can lip synching cause? Britney had more than enough time to learn the song on the piano and she could’ve sung it acoustic. Even though she killed that one Section with Toxic, and a few other parts, NO ONE knew about MM, heck I’ve seen people sy they didn’t even know BOM.....:lemmetellu: she didn’t sing live, and was stiff they first few minutes so that turned people off as well. authencity is SO important.

Then on carpool karaoke, she didn’t sing ANY of her new songs aside from make, ANOTHER perfect opportunity to show off some of the songs on Glory... wasted. On Top of that she BARELY sang loud enough for anyone to here. She came off as a little dumb when she couldn’t even answer What Oops was about, a song that she has performed for more than 5-6 years combined....

The VMA’s was a mess, she didn’t sing live, nor was there anything else to distract from Beyonce’s 15 minutes performance that was much better. She didn’t sing, she didn’t do a Hardcore dance choreo (which they could easily have had done for LMD and premiered it, and it would have been fyiah:lemmetellu:)

Her current state as a performer is just horrible, and based on some of the things I mentioned not to mention BJ, x factor and FFT, it’s A huuuuge turn off for people.

On Top of that, while MOST people said many positive things about How her voice was strong and that she could sing, there were still some comments about How she sucks and that’s why she doesn’t sing (in her defence she was out of breath, noticably) What does her team do after she gets MANY amazing reactions? No one tells her to freaking sing... nor does she do it at her own will.

her dancing is a little more fluid but not nearly as good as she has shown herself to be while preparering for her shows recently, as evidens by her MM choreo (although the choreo in my opinion didn’t fit the song), or during her vegas rehearsels. She stopped doing the SP choreo, not like she ever did it correctly to begin with.

Plus, they barely mention Glory and go deeper in om the songs concepts, inspirations etc.

and she herself + her team are lazy. And her team seems to be a bunch of idiotas, I’ll wait and see What happens next era

 

So, in conclusion, she NEEDS sto sing with her HB voice, drop the Lolita act, there are other ways to be ****, look at (I know y’all hate her) Bey’s Partition, or Britney’s HIAM, Do something, IUSA even...

She needs to do that, and start writing alot more meaningful songs, be more relatable, dance harder again, SING LIVE, market herself as current and in the know..:lemmetellu: pretty much remind people WHY she has sold near 200 million records. Remind them she HAS talent, Britney’s Brand has been hurt by her performances and other stuff.

Yes, she's a nostalgia act, and yes, I fully believe B10 will be the deciding factor of her career and if it ends or not. If Team B doesn't understand that by now, they're fools. They need to quit selling her based off her name alone, it's not working anymore. The only reason the Asia tour did so well was because she hadn't been there in years.
