Video: Tie. I LOVE the Remix but the original makes me feel extremely nostalgic. It's a tie for me.

To me, the original song as well as the original video are better, not saying the remix is bad but I prefer the original. 

I hate when they make a remix of a good song, it's like why re-do a song that is already great?  

Very few remixes are great, from Britney's only Boys and S&M. The original Overprotected song sounds so bubblegum, yet energetic and powerful. I think it could have been a great lead single instead of Slave but given her new **** image I know why it wasn't. The MV is just so on point,  the intro is AMAZING she she gets out of her and gets through the door. THOSE MOVIE EFFECTS ARE INSANE!!! +the choreo +the outfit + fierceness, everything is right. From the remix version the only thing I like is the choreo scene in the hotel.

Darkchild in both aspects. The original video is stupider to me. Ooh, let's hang out at a studio warehouse/set to hide out from the paps, where backup dancers just happen to be lurking in wait-- dumb.
