      it's easy to understand though ... the guy in drag is a new Britney stan and is trying to prove that Britney is still killing it dancing on POM. The parents are OG Britney fans from 1998 so they know the whole history and refuse to believe that the current Britney is at her best, but their son is trying to prove to them that she's just as good back then. That's why he started dancing and strutting, he was trying to prove to the audience how she dances now but the parents don't want to see that.
