Glory Japan Edition coming to the US?

Hey guys,

So  some of you may know from my previous posts that I work at Target. Well,  I searched for Glory on our system, and I came across a listing for the Japan edition of Glory. It has the new artwork and everything-

Now, I don’t want to get everyone’s hopes up for nothing, but as you can see it says sold online and in store. It even has its own unique item number fir Target. It says no stores currently have it in stock and the website listing is inactive, but this can change. If true, this would mean a reissue and the US would finally get an official release of Mood Ring.

 

But this could also all mean nothing at all. I’ll keep everyone updated if I find out anything new.

I doubt a reissue would sell well or even sell at all but I guess it could be good for fans that want to get their hands on their own Mood Ring

Why care? You can order it straight from Japan without having to pay import costs.........

It probably won’t release here. There is no tour here, we just have Vegas, and if the listing says “Japan Tour Edition” then it’s probably exclusive to Japan.  A lot of stuff is listed on Target’s website that are “unavailable.” One can dream though...

I believe target.com sells from third party sellers. That is what is showing.

Nope, Target doesn’t do third party. Only from their own warehouses.

And besides, it said “sold online and other stores”. That means stores may stock it on the shelves.

 

But anyway, I think it’s unlikely this will come to fruition. Maybe they tried to work something out at some point, but it didn’t work and it’s just still in the system.

Oh, now things are getting interesting. Best Buy, which is an American only electronics company, has it listed on their website too-

They shut down their third party marketplace last year so it isn’t third party. Interesting.

electronic stores tend to carry imports... the price says it all. They charge you the import cost in the price of the CD

They should just release Moodring on streaming sites and iTunes. Come on...no one cares about Glory in the US anyways. It will give it a few more streams for Glory.

I heard its getting released w 5 new tracks and 2 old tracks are getting video treatment,  "LMD" and "CYM". I also heard smth about possible desert performance. But you didn't hear it from me

Just bought Taiwan edition, but I would definitely buy it again.

Update: It says release date was 6/9 so I doubt it
