What many need to realise is that this song is such a chill song, so the performance for it actually suited the song.

Another thing many need to realise is that when you have a chill song and chill performance right after an artist who chooses to perform a near 20 minute medley of their album/tour... ofc it won't look as good. Its not even just the fact that it was Beyonce. If any artist got to perform a mini version of their tour on a ******* award ceremony... they are bound to show up every other artist scheduled to perform that night. That's exactly why Beyonce did it which is why I really didn't see how it was at all fair for Beyonce to do that.

Britney did well and did as best she could given the situation of that entire ceremony scheduling. Not just Britney, but Rihanna and every other artist as well performing that night too.

It was fine but I missed Controversney

Even though I loved it, I kind of agree with you. The performance was great (for me). It's not an "iconic" or "legendary" performance because it's wasn't controversial.

Agree, Beyonce stole the show from anyone, including Rihanna that was her night. It wasn't nice from her, that's why I hate her so bad.

It wasnt bad at all it was just boring. They should have known that after 9 years of not performing she should have had some sort of set up. I think she did well ever tho that Me Myself And I part is cringeworthy. But when she got on her knees and went thru his legs and spazzed her hair around I was like :scalped:

It's a pretty good performance, but the focus on that G-Eazy song was a big misstep. And the styling of Britney and her dancers is not that great for the song's vibe.

I think the desert single cover should have been used as inspiration. Also, her whole entourage of dancers could have come out to do choreo for the final chorus. Or just something more grand.

Wasn't that bad at all :o I mean idk why i thought it was mediocre in the beginning, I guess the fact she was after Beyonce's mini concert ruined it for me, but seriously if you watch the performance now, it was pretty good, the choreo was amazing, the silhouette and everything :omg: I kinda love it now tbh

***** has still got it if you ask me :queenflopga:

The leotard ruined everything imo...it was so unflattering. I say this because she looked skinnier and better at the white carpet.

And now I know it was Britney the one who "designed" it and her vegas seamtresses made it. this is the inspiration:

Her team should have called Mark Zunino or any other fashion designer. but they didn't because it was going to be given away to a fan.that was not cool team Britney :nothavingit:

I hope it gave her confidence to hit award shows again. I mean of course it could've been bigger and better but it fits the song and maybe simpler to better pull it off for your first VMA in 10 years almost!

I always wished they mixed the Jonathan Ross performance when she gets picked up and swung by her male dancers.
