At least this tour isn't cheap and doesn't portray Britney as a washed-up, has-been

I'm sick to death of this fanbase   Y'all hate on Katy Perry for a flippant remark but you all spend all day on here today dragging britney to hell and back, her supposed fans :staysalty:

I'm torn because I feel like I understand where the dragging stems from, but agree that we all just need to be happy that she's happy, healthy and alive.

I'm not saying she should be walking around stage unenthused and we should accept it but 10 years ago Britney was on the verge of something that could have led to death. So we should be happy she's still gracing us with her presence and not hiding in some bunker somewhere with her kids.

However, since Britney continues to sell (or try to sell) albums and tickets and merch, I totally blame her team and her for not sticking up for her brand on where her career is now. They shouldn't be selling mediocre. There is absolutely no reason why there shouldn't be pre-recorded vocals for a "live" concert. It's not acceptable...and that's just the beginning of the list. She literally is destroying her legacy.

Totally understand how you feel. I really felt like she was so far off the path in 2007 that she was going to die or just never come back. I was SO grateful and ecstatic when Womanizer came out. I remember watching that video when it came out with my friend very vividly. I was excited..I thought she had returned for good. And omg the Mannequin clip killed me deeeeeeeeeeeead. I was so excited for that!
I've been defending Britney since the beginning of her career practically. People have always hated on her and it's easy to be protective of her especially since 2007 we almost lost her....however these days it's so hard to stick up for many of the choices she and her team seem to make.
I think a lot of it is her team is hella messy and money grubbing...the c-ship is ******* shady and everyone seems to leech money off of her including her boyfriends (but that's for another thread). So it's no wonder things are really cheap and there's never a proper budget.  But she seems to really not care either and that's sooo hard to defend.

I just wish that she could come back to herself or be passionate af about her career  and this amazing dream she's been blessed with and show the ******* world that everything they said about her wasnt true.... because right now she's giving every hater more fuel and it's such a pity because the potential she has is like a gold mine...but her and her team are too blind or dumb to work with it properly.
