At least this tour isn't cheap and doesn't portray Britney as a washed-up, has-been

no props or visuals yet she did great

OMG thanks for sharing this :brit:

This proves Britney was channeling her old school shows in Tokyo.

Her skills and swag are superior in 2017 tho.:hipney:

Props and visuals weren't really needed for this tour tbh. :NYsassy:

-Amazing new pre-recorded vocals.

not sure if joke or shade :moorangu:

LOL at some of you guys expected this to be a new show ....

The problem isn't that it's the same show as PoM, it's that it's poorly executed, Britney is half-assing it and it looks like a cheap mess

I'm sick to death of this fanbase   Y'all hate on Katy Perry for a flippant remark but you all spend all day on here today dragging britney to hell and back, her supposed fans :staysalty:

Lol this when Britney's a far better performer than Katy will ever be.

Those comments are ******* stupid, why are "rock" fans such pretentious ********? I'd rather watch Britney than a bunch of middle aged men screaming into a microphone :ipass:

probably the same reason why they'd rather hear middle-aged men screaming into a microphone than a woman lip-syncing to vocals she recorded 20 years ago: preference

I'm referring to the performance in 1999, not now. :britlol:

oh then... lemme think .... :orangu:

they don't wanna hear a 17 year old pop singer who's trying to make a name of herself at a rock concert? :orangu:

Tbf, Woodstock wasn't just a rock festival. Especially not the 1999 version.

And @JJones12992, as a fan of both, it's a fun line to toe. I can't even tell you why they're like that, but it makes for awkward situations when you're expected to agree with them. :forkit:

What does rock have to do with 1999 Britney? I'm so confused

woodstock is a music festival now mainly rock driven, so Britney going there as a new artist didn't quite fit with her bubblegum pop at the time

she still killed it though

Oh you know what I didn't pay attention to where it was at. For some reason I thought it was at Wango Tango.
