Her vocals aren't great tbh. Don't get me wrong - I'd rather her try, but it's bad when she actually does. She's so throaty and clearly doesn't work with a vocal coach.

She is nasal but her placement isn't throaty by the slightest bit

I feel this is probably why she doesn't even try to sing anymore (plus her anxiety). People will always complain.

I loved, but the voice she puts on Shadow live is my favorite. But if only she was well rested, those two performances could be better.

I think she lips bc it's easier - she doesn't like to put much effort into things anymore. back in the day i think she used the excuse that she danced hard and i think she prob still uses that excuse even though she doesn't.

I always liked how she sang it live compared to the studio version especially when she says baby.
