The idea of a Miley and Britney collab was brilliant. It's just too bad that the song wasn't as good as others on Bangerz. 

Adore You was much more popular which is why it was the 3rd single and it still flopped. SMS would have done worse imo. But I do like the song, it just wasn't single material.

i liked miley's album but that song was ****. britney's vocals made it bearable, but couldn't save the song.

Also if my memory is serving me right, most of the Army hated the idea of the two of them collaborating. I could see a lot of fans boycotting it. It was 2013, everyone in the army was boycotting something that year

Um Miley and her team would have to make that decision, not Britney's! SMS was not even Britney's song!

I remember how so many people on here thought it was garbage and now all the sudden it should've been a single. It honestly is a terrible song, the only good part of it is Britney's verse! TBH I like PG better than SMS......PG really isn't half as bad as people make it out to be honestly, it just needed some production/lyric tweaks, but it's a super fun track regardless!

It would've made more sense to release it instead of working with Iggy after career went down the tubes. A controversial video could've been big especially on Youtube. Miley was everywhere and people kept talking about her. I still can't believe Bangerz only had 3 singles in 2013. They know how to kill an era at RCA.

I remember I was in HS when the album dropped and I was in class with these 2 girls and they were talking to each other and were like "you have to listen to this new miley cyrus song with britney spears" so naturally I was eavesdropping to see their reaction (an unbiased opinion is alwayssss important) and I heard them just laughing at how utterly bad it was 

But I agree with the above comments that I took quite some time to actually enjoy the song, still not single material though.
