She could have done some more hype promo  for the album. And I'm sure she knows that the MM video is horrible. If they truly did not want to use the original version, then they should have done something more professional that actually deserves her name to be put on it. It represents her so I don't know why she would put out the bad product.

What mistakes were made during the era?

1. MM released without the video
2. MM original video scrapped
3. Rushed second MM video being horrible, tacky and cheap
4. Album cover being a pixelated screencap
5. Poor timing, release date full of competition like barbra streisend and the redneck band
6. VMA ad hyping up the performance when the performance was dull and basic
7. Poor timing releasing the album in the middle of the Vegas shows
8. Poor promo, no one cares about interviews, you've gotta perform
9. Basic performances, awful choreography, ugly costumes
10. Everything being about Vegas
11. Poor second single choice (two midtempos in a row)
12. Useless features with C-listers like GEazy and Tinashe
13. Releasing the second single way too long after the album was already dead

I didn't really like Glory that much, it had two or three good songs but the entire chill/reggae/beachy vibe that it had completely lost the original Britney essence

this era was missed opportunities over missed opportunities:

- Make Me not being premiered at the BBMA's

- Make Me scrapped video

- Make Me lackluster performance on the VMA's

- A feature with Tinashe instead of someone bigger

and that's exactly why her career is currently flopping and her latest album was a mess. You cannot put minimal effort into your career for 10 years and expect to be where you once where. she will never be on top again and that's fact and it really does upset me :byebitch:

good:

- the music

- lead single choice

bad:

- zero damage control when the album started selling in mexico (& leaked) a week prior to the worldwide release

- "make me..." music video

- VERY underwhelming VMAs performance

- timing of "make me..." promo (vmas happened 1 1/2 month after the release and that was the only US promo)

- timing of the album release (should've happened the moment it leaked, and it would've gone #1 in the US)

- album artwork

- shitty promo choices overall (iheartradio awards + radio festivals that no one got to see, AMAs & PCAs were skipped for no reason, no late night appearances, no relevant magazine covers except for V which happened 2 months prior to the album release)

- basically zero promo overseas, except for the UK and even that happened way too late.

Mistakes:

- Choosing MM as the lead single, should have been something not so generic

- MM Music Video

- Slumber Party as a second single, MM should have been second

-Slumber Party should have been third

- Naming the album "Glory"

- Generic cover

- Boring VMa

- generic and boring production of music (the songs are good, dont get me wrong, but they arent amazing like ITZ or Blackout when it comes to lyrical and musical composition. Really basic beats. Nothing personal like ITZ and didnt have that music composition like Blackout.

Good things:

-BBMA

-Carpool Karaoke

-iHeart and Jingle Ball

-UK promo

- Her body and looks

- Her voice sounded human like on the record. If she would have only sand about deeper stuff, it wouldve been amazing.
