I remember that Britney herself said that Hot as Ice would be third single. Then came Break the Ice animated video  (although BTI is my absolute fav Britney's song)

this song annoys me tbh. it's pretty immature and her throaty little kid vocals aren't great. in fact - the bridge to me is very very childish and bad lol. i would have been ok if this song was a bonus song.

Fun fact the demo was in quite normal voice. They pitched it I guess.
