Fantasy reformulation..

I'm a bit skeptical. To me, Fantasy has always smelled the same? Am I totally wrong here?

I've seen a lot of people talking about two different Fantasy formulas tbh. https://www.fragrantica.com is a wonderful site that talks about perfumes and reviews of perfume. 

I think the thing that makes me want to rip my hair out involves the gems on the bottle. I've had quite a few Fantasy bottles. This isn't coming from somebody that went to somebody's house, noticed they had Fantasy and I've only sprayed it once in my lifetime. Anyway, I remember the gems being clear. I pick up the latest bottle I had and noticed they were green. I shrug it off because I assume the bottle must've went through a redesign. I pull out my old bottles I have and the gems are all green. It's driving me nuts over here. Does anybody else remember clear gems?!

Omg yes not too long ago I was looking at my bottle of fantasy that I've had for awhile and noticed the green gems. I had other bottles a long time ago and I don't remember them having green gems.

I would say "Mandela Effect", but that **** pisses the **** out of me.

Also, I could've sworn mine had clear gems, but nope. It has green.  They do look clear/white from a distance, though. Which is shocking.

all you saying the gems were clear..lmao

i remember when this was originally released and it was green gems. not clear. 

when the gems came off, thats when the formulation changed for the fragrance

yes there is a different smell. 

its quite noticeable as well.

 

however i wouldnt pay that much as ive found the original formulation at multiple times recently for about $20

There were 2 formulas, and originally if I remember correctly, the original bottle was diffeeent

The old bottles used swarovski crystals, they were green but probably lighter than the ones they use now. I think the old bottles melted easily or something. I don't think they've changed the formula though, I think it's always smelled the same.

ANY TIME  a bottle change is done, so is a reformulatuon. It's pretty standard usually. 

But they do smell very different. I'm actually smelling both right now.
