Britney videos blocked due to new YouTube restriction

This is a big issue on youtube and it's affecting everybody there. Youtube is broken and they aren't doing anything to fix it. However, the restriction mode has been there for awhile actually, but there's a lot of things happening.

Well, clearly, even Britney's videos are restricted, so we know. I haven't seen anyone say it's "ONLY LGBT channels", though.

The problem is that this content is being restricted, just because it's LGBT+ related. I've seen some channels where the only restricted videos are those who talk about something LGBT related. There was a video of a guy petting his cat, and it was under restriction just because there's a rainbow flag in the background. Do you blame the LGBT comunity for feeling attacked for this?

Yup. Not trying to justify this american way of restriction but you have *** with a woman in her loungerie, the other outfit is more a costume than a private underwear. And personally tbh I never thought the diamonds piece were that ******. Like I said on the other post, toxic looks like a cartoon. Some kids tv shows are way worse on their subliminal messages, but its never something obvious. A loungerie is obvious. Its out there. The message is clear. Again (since exhale loves to hate on me) im not saying I agree to this, but its just the way it is. The same sick censorship occurs in movies. What i dont understand is why they censored BOMT, but again, sick society.

btw it's not a restriction it's either your YouTube account has safe mode on or it might not be available in your country I doubt this tho 

You just have to  turn safe mode off 

its pretty ******** tho there's already a YouTube kids app and pornoraphic stuff isn't allowed on YouTube

It's either because they are stuck in the 90's and still think bomt is outrageous and too **** or it's because hit me baby one more time caused contreversy because a bunch of parents thought it was about domestic abuse that's why the album is baby one more time rather than hit me

I don't understand how anybody actually knows how the videos are getting restricted...especially when it's kind of been a secret move that's just gotten exposed. I think the thing that bugs me about this is that it's the lgbt community that is complaining that it's a blatant attack on them. I have seen this on twitter and youtube and while I'm not mad or anything, I just see that a lot of people are only thinking it is lgbt videos and content and not the whole of youtube. I already pointed out that the restrictions arent making any sense at all and they are restricting even the biggest youtube channels as a whole. Instead of making it a fully lgbt issue, which it is not, it is a youtube issue, we need to make sure it is fixed for everyone. I'm still not sure how they are even measuring what should be restricted and how it is being restricted so I really don't think it is actually an attack, because like I said, everybody is getting attacked.
But no, I don't blame the community for feeling attacked, but I have seen far too many people thinking it is only the lgbt community being attacked and that's not exactly true. People are also blindly deleting youtube apps and quitting watching their favorite channels over this but that does nothing to support their favorite content creators which we really should be standing behind even though youtube is quite ****** at the moment.

I didn't even know this Restricted Mode existed.
