Anyone else gets those error messages while inboxing?

I also got something similar when I replied to my own status update

Now say what you want about other errors, but this is very limiting.

Once I couldn't inbox nor reply to a status update and I had to tag the other person into a random thread.

Now I just can't inbox my convo partner and it would be awkward to spam a random thread again. Please fix this error for me, it is seriously disturbing
