Chained to the rhythm could've been a good Britney song

It's too Sia. Katy literally tries to sound like her and that's annoying.

It sounds like a good album track (from a Sia album of course), but anything from Glory is better. Of course any song in Britney's voice would be better than the original, but nah.

That part of the "bubble, bubble" is the best part of the song, which I assume came from Max Martin. But the actual chorus, or I believe it's the chorus, where she sings zombie or something like that, it sounds very odd in a negative way, which I suppose comes from Sia, it's more of her style, but for some reason it doesn't work with Katy.

I don't like the song at all. It's fresh for Katy that she has a song with political message but it, ironically, fails to have any sort of catchy rhythm. So, no, thank you.

And I don't really see the comparison with Femme Fatale. FF was starting a new trend and still sounds fresh imo.

I think Chained To The Rhythm is a typical Katy Perry song. It sounded promising at first but then when you hear the full song, it just kinda goes nowhere?

I like the song but the lyrics seem a little...sloppy

"like a wasted zombie" seems a bit immature...but then again so does "mmm papa love you"
