What happened to her style?

Been a fan since 99, this my first post here.  Just realised, britneys style was way better even on her free time when she was younger.  Why is her style so tacky these days? In early 2000 she used to have nice jeans, top and was overall put together. What changed?

I feel like when you're in your 20s you feel that need to always catch up with what's cool and new but when you get older you realize that these things don't really matter. 
What do you exactly mean by tacky?

Britney's never given a **** about fashion though. Back in the 2000s she always wore jeans and a tank top, or sweatpants with her hair tied up.

She's the same person today, only older.

I been a fan also since forever, however back then she has a personal stylist so she was more put together you can tell the days it was all britney

i don't think it matters what she wears when she is just out and about doing her own thingbut  her stage costumes however...

Don't we all love this about her? Going out in sweatpants and a messy bun and not giving any *****? How many of us do this in our daily life without thinking: 'I hope I don't run in to someone I know..' Society..
