sorry what i meant by beyonce's team is that they focus more on albums as a whole and even tho today it's all about singles, not every artist has to conform to that. beyonce's singles don't do very well but her albums do. britney is not a new girl, imo she shouldn't be focusing on singles (maybe the first single of the album) but overall britney has been an album artist. britney should stay with having her music on streaming sites unlike bey.

I think, depending on the direction she goes, she needs a Jamie King or Virgil Abloh type on her team. They both really understand how to present visual artists

No promo. I mean, for worldwide. No tour, no banner, no ads, the Sony Music International also failed to promote Glory. They just throw an album release party for the fans, and that's it. You barely see the Glory poster/banner anywhere on the music store worldwide (except Brazil). Britney is nowhere to promote her new album on the TV, too busy with Vegas. Maybe she's ready to become a has been in Vegas just like the haters said.  :forkit:

May Sam's ability to turn himself into a massive Cockzilla and Sperminator inspire Brinny to write more explicit lyrics that explain how healthy and nutricious his *** is :hipney: Maybe we'll even get a song about Godney swimming on a pool of Muslim **** :slayney:

Hopefully he turns ha into a healthy squirter and by unleashing all them backed up juices that are stuck in ha pu$$y, she'll get just as loose as her **** on stage. Slapping her vulva in order to make her wetter than a third class passenger at the Titanic might just work :cinderellaney:

She's always been a squirter sis

Can we show these tragic numbers to Britney? I mean, she says she cares about the sales but... This is tragic. :eheeek::britdrown:

We can't even laugh at Christina's album sales anymore:blol:

Where have all the fans gone? :ponderney:

They got tired of Britney and her team's attitude. And honestly, they totally deserve it.

We need glory 2.0 for tracks that didn't make it to glory. And Have mood ring as the lead single

this album was way to damn good to just go into the dust.   Its a shame. her team needs to do something.  It's one of Britney's best albums and her baby and it must be awful to watch your greatest work flop and not be recognized.

her team has no clue how to manage her at all. i know britards hate to hear this but she needs a team like beyonce's (where it's all about the music/album, younger people, but knowledgeable people, not 50+ artifacts.) and i know britney said music isn't her number 1 priority but you can't just half *** everything. it's obvious no one on her team cares about the music and her legacy, they just want to make a buck by promoting vegas not her music.

Agreed. Women over 30 won't get played on the radio as much as the new popstars. Beyonce's team focusing on her legacy is what is helping her. Her album sales, marketing, touring, award show performances, and album themes are the best way to go. She doesn't need hit singles anymore and her albums still sell like crazy. Britney's already a pop legend but they market her like she's this washed up reality star. That doesn't make sense at all. They don't have to forego hit singles but they could at least try to take chances. They don't want to spend their own money for music videos but they'll cancel the video for a lead single because "it didn't work". That's incredibly unprofessional. I don't even know why her team makes money. What are they getting paid to do? Reduce her career to a Vegas act? They can do much better and they don't even try. Just like the VMAs. No other star of Britney's calibre would show up, perform right after Beyonce with a cheap set and props, and watch her team not demand that she wins every VMA next year.

The thruth tea is SCALDING :reductive:

It does not help that most of Britney's promotional appearances throughout this era have included a setlist that's HEAVILY reliant on greatest hits with merely one or two Glory tracks randomly thrown in the mix. Most audience members who attended iHeart Radio, Jingle Ball, Triple Ho and Jingle Bash probably deduced they were tracks from previous albums that didn't get the single treatment :britdrown:

You could totally even mix an old hit with a Glory track. Love Me Down with S4U or something

Like Im happy she's promoting but its almost like her team can only handle one thing at a time. Its possible to promote an album and your show at the same time

And also just being more creative with marketing and album roll out. She doesnt always have to do the same old thing, and she has all these fragrances and side shut maybe just focus on the music or even tie that into it (like buy a Private show box set and get a pre order of Glory, intimate collection commercial set to SP with Tinasha) music needs to be the #1 thing and everything else is there to help it

I cannot tell you the number of people I know who LIKE Britney and STILL barely realize Glory even exists.

The actual album was literally not promoted at all - RCA/Team B just focused on the singles and Vegas.

Gay men all know about and have at least fully listened to - if not purchased - Glory because we take pop music and pop icons so seriously. We would know about this album even if it was never publicly mentioned or released. Haha.

But straight girls who still are totally on board with Britney are so completely unaware of Glory existing, or - because it's not been promoted anywhere - they forget to even look it up to play on Spotify.

Over Christmas one of my best friends was telling me how much she LOVES Make Me... but how she still hasn't actually heard all of Glory. And I was at a birthday party at the end of September where some Glory tracks were playing - and all the straight girls were like "Wait, is this Britney? I had no idea she had a new album?!"

RCA and Team B need to put some effort back into courting the straight demographic, because the gays are good - we've got it handled. We pay attention to everything Britney does, but the rest of the populace has moved on from following her every step simply because of her name. She will forever be recognized - and immortalized - but the public stopped paying attention a long time ago to Britney Spears simply because she's Britney Spears.

Lol so true. I'm a straight girl btw and I always tell my friends about Britney's new music. They had no idea that she had an album coming out compared to Femme Fatale when everyone knew the album was coming. I cannot understand why I saw a thousand Revival commercials and Britney had nothing. That's plain stupidity. A lot of people enjoyed Make Me but they didn't promote it until right before the album came out and then they didn't mention the album at all during the VMAs. Her team is SO dumb.

So agree. She needs a Karen Kwak for everything else. Someone who did that magic to Glory but to her image/marketing. don't think her team wanted to start out the era like this but still

She needed to full heartly promote the album and she didnt. She did a lot of promo but in interviews it was 5% talking about the album, 30% talking about her past and legacy, 20% talking about POM, and the rest about her current life status and children.

When she performed it was one or two new songs from Glory and the rest were throwbacks.

I still think she can do a special like she did with her first 4 albums; with fans, discussing each track, have some fun moments and perform like 5 songs from Glory & 2 fan faves.

On a serious note, this is quite sad. It's such a great album, and it's doing really bad. I mean I'm not expecting a commercial success like OIDIA or her other albums, but I wished it could have done better for the songs to be recognised by more people (And I'm sure Britney would have too).

I honestly thought it would have gone platinum in the U.S. im worried cuz she was so proud of this album and took her time and its almost a slap in the face that its not selling. Im worried she'll just go back to whats safe and straw away from more artistic approaches.

I've met people like that too! It seems her team stopped promoting albums after Femme Fatale, everything since then was Vegas so a lot of people don't know she has released albums since Femme Fatale. A lot of people, for example, think Work ***** was just a stand alone single, same with Make Me.

Yea I worry too that her label might want to play safe from now on, and won't give her as much freedom as she got with Glory because the album didn't do well
