I love the melodies, mood, lyrics, and instrumental! I think these qualities would resonate with the public if it were released as a single.

For the radio mix, I think they should cut out the "dark mascara" intro and jump right to the first verse at "I can't compete." But they should keep the intro for the video, which would be moody but hopeful.
