The formula to do these lists is so predictable, put mainstream videos by popular artists to please all audiences and some not so known ones to look artsy fartsy

The writing team at BreatheHeavy.com collectively decided what our Top 20 music videos of 2016 were.

Each editor submitted a score for every song, rating them 1-20, and the final results are a collective accumulation of that combined score.

The list begins with #20.

I agree as well! These last two albums are almost unbearable for me. They're so trashy I can barely listen. I'm a huge Beyonce fan, but this new "music" is awful.

They're obviously just doing this to try and piss us off but it's just routine around here nowadays so I'm unbothered by it. It just comes off as tacky and desperate and I hope they try to get rid of bad habits in 2017

Both the song and video for Formation are trash. Even the MM official video is better than the Formation video. Yeah I went that far and I'm not gonna hold the truth tea back. I hope one day the GP sees through Thiefonces fake *** and stops sucking her *******. Even Taylor isn't as bad or as fake as Beyonka and that means a lot coming from me

thats a stretch. Lot of good videos on that list but yeah, formation is good but there were even better videos on lemonade compared to Formation to choose from.

I'm glad I'm not alone.  I like Beyoncé, so don't get me wrong.  I love her older stuff, both with Destiny's Child and her solo stuff.  I just don't get her more recent "music" (as you put it) catalog.  I am all for artist creativity and trying new things, but maybe sometimes it's better to stick with what you know.  Or at least something close to it. Just sayin'.

How can you count Lemonade as one music video?  Also why on earth is Perfect Illusion on there?! I like the song but the video was just as bad as Make Me video! It shouldn't be anywhere near a top 20 list, unless it's top 20 AWFUL music videos. I could go dance around the desert too if that's all it takes for a top 20 video  And I'm not bashing cos it's Gaga, I'm one of the few who genuinely likes the song.
