It's cuz music was different. Spotify was just growing... Nicki still rapped. Bieber was a kid. Ariana was a nobody. There was no Weeknd, 4th Harmony etc.

It kinda makes me sad because it was a undeniably successful era totally wasted cause she just wasn't ready for it back then.

It kinda pains me thinking what's Rihanna's feelings about her. I LOVE Rihanna and i wish they would collaborate again to make it right this time, but I don't see it happening at all. As much as S&M Remix was profitable for her I believe Britney's behavior back then ruined her image on Ri's mind. Rihanna was already huge but she was still so young, she probably was starstruck to be working with Britney for something so big and FFney probably was a real turn off.
