I think the GP still thinks this tbh. They don't check for her chart positions but just assume Britney has had more number 1 hits and awards than she actually has and probably thinks all of her albums have hit number 1.

I didn't know or care about charts when I was little. Nobody really does honestly. People don't even know what it means. GP just assumes that if a song is popular or good its number one.

i was even more surprised christina had 3 #1's from her debut album and britney was obviously more popular and successful at the time (and now )

I have a few of Britney accomplishment picture things and my mom was shocked she only had one

Never been into charts or awards until 2007 when i started to follow her (for real), before that i just knew her music was popular and people talked a lot about her, and to me that seemed successful enough cause she was everywhere

Taylor I can understand, but Fergie? She actually has a Grammy??? 

Thats too much. She needs to give those back to the academy, because we all know who they rightfully belong to.

yeah.. I was not paying attention to that before.. but when they were announcing in 2008 that Womanizer is her first #1 after BOMT I was like WTF? How is this possible with so many legendary and iconic singles?

Omg yes! I was like how tf is that even possible and when I found out that femme fatale was the first and only  album to have 3 top 10 hits in the billboard hot 100 i nearly gagged

I became a Britney's fan since the beginning of her career, so, the awards and the record sales were never important to me.

I'm more upset that she didn't win a VMA for her ICONIC videos- BOMT, OIDIA, Toxic, Slave like what the heck. But then she wins the most iconic video in TRL history? I don't get it.

She always got snubbed there and it makes me so mad. She is the queen of the VMA's and TRL.

 

And don't even get me started on the tribute to her where she had to talk about Beyoncé during her entire speech.
