It has to be very different from MM and SP, it's clear people are not here for vibey Britney, they love generic uptempo britney. So Love me Down would be the better choice. I mean, IWG was imo the worst song of FF and was a hit,  britney is famous for those generic songs. Liar (even tho I hate it) with good new vocals would probably do better than the first 2 singles too.

Well to be honest, Make Me did fairly well! It shot straight back up into the charts after the VMA's which showed the GP did actually like the song so... little bit of promo on any song by Britney helped it a bit

Work ***** is a terrible song, regardless of its tempo. That repeat of *****, the dated drop, everything was terrible. Love me Down is way more listenable

The critics liked Just Luv Me more but the GP may like Love Me Down more cos its uptempo and in some parts similar to music out right now :sassybrit:

It all comes down to how Slumber party performs on radio. If it can take off -> release an uptempo

If Slumber party doesn't become a radio hit -> nothing else will after -> end on a good note with Just luv me

MM,SP and JLM as singles is a little redundant. If she isn't winning, she needs to change the strategy. I was also team SP but maybe I was wrong. SP should belong to Rihanna tbh.

Don't let them fool you into thinking it's a matter of single choices lol. Slumber party proves Britney has 0 streaming power, the only way for her to get a hit is through radio so if SP can restore her relationship with radio and become a hit, it would make sense to release an uptempo track because there's hope for commercial success and you don't want to release something redudant 2 times in a row.

If SP doesn't grow then radio won't be here for single 3. That coupled with her non-existant streaming power will result in single 3 not charting at all. Love me down won't magically smash. :jlostare:

I have a feeling we will have a 3rd single tbh. Remember that rumour that the SP video was supposed to be basically a commercial for a dating service like tinder? But then team britney decided to have no sponsors for this video and that they would advertise the dating service later on. I think it was legit because there's no product placement in SP, at all. So maybe DYWCO? for 3rd single? It would fit the theme of the dating app :meltdown: I hate that song :meltdown:
