Bon Jovi

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis

Alicia Keys

Britney Spears

"I’ve said it before, and it bears repeating: Britney Spears’ Glory was a fun, well-produced pop album, but commercially, it was one of her worst flops. The title only managed to start at No. 3 (the second-lowest beginning of her career) despite the fact that she’s still one of the biggest names in pop music. The record didn’t hang around long, and lead single “Make Me” didn’t actually cause much of a commotion or garner much critical praise, despite the singer’s many attempts to push it up the charts. The song did crack the top 20, but it remains one of the lowest charting of any of her album’s lead cuts. Follow-up single “Slumber Party” didn’t fare better, despite a remix featuring Tinashe. There is still time for Glory to launch a third single that the masses take hold of, but if it all stops now, Spears will have two relative flops in a row, with Glory and Britney Jean. The numbers connected to her ninth full-length would be fine for newer or lesser artists, but they're a story on their own when it comes to somebody like Spears."

i spot no lies unfortunately :meltdown:

Exactly! They even said that for a new artist the numbers of Glory are Ok, but for a A List Legend like it's a tragedy when you compare the numbers with people like Beyoncé or Justin Timberlake.

They destroy the entire era with the Make Me Music Video thing + they don't help when they called to a flop artist like Randee St Nichols for take charge of the Music Video and Photography from the entire era.

I don't think anything at this point  will help Glory. She needs focus on release a New LP on Q4 of 2017. And do all the things right this time (Music+Visuals+Promo) because if 2 flops in a row it's bad for her image 3 flops in a row will destroy her career (in terms of relevancy) and she will be the next Christina Aguilera.

It also flopped because it's a follow-up of that mess of an era/album called Britney Jean.

Lol but if B10 flops what will we say? It only flopped because it's a follow-up of a flop album called Glory? We can't keep making excuses, this is a lesson for her team and shouldn't repeat again :brityeah:

I personally agree with everything the writer said, they are good numbers for newer artists but for someone like Britney they're terrible, and if our only excuse is that she's been doing this for God knows how many years then we are doomed to keep falling lower and lower.
