I saw that but they have no receipts. I doubt it. Re-releases happen for albums that do really good

Sia did it,and I think that it wasn't doing

that good before the re-release? Cause Alive kinda flopped tho:mj:Oh no she did that right after Cheap Thrill became a hit....

Not necessarily.. if the label feels that the album didn't bring in enough revenue but still believes in the chance of commercial success they would absolutely throw a rerelease together and see what happens

Why even bother with a re-release, though? :squintney: Just do what Madonna did with Rebel Heart and release a "Glory" EP with new songs, remixes of MM and SP, and hopefully a new ******* album cover. :lessons: There is really no need for re-releases in the digital age anymore. Not every re-release will be a The Complete Confection and spawn even more hit singles, especially when the original didn't do too hot to begin with.

Let's think about this rationally.

The album has yet to make 500k in US sales.

The album's artwork is made of screenshots from a makeshift music video.

They replaced an original track on the digital version with an alternate one overnight.

The second single is yet to receive its own artwork.

They have scrapped one music video.

Yup, its completely logical that RCA is going to re-release the album.

I did but is it suppose to change things?

If they don't care about Glory now, why would it change magically

A digital release doesn't cost money. They aren't producing CDs.

It's additial copies sold to the fans. It's win-win. The album doesn't have to be a huge smash to do a digital re-release.

Of course it costs money...

Do you think ppl give out their tracks for free? Someones produces and writes them.

I assume that she'd use the songs she already recorded for Glory and that didn't make the cut?

Correct me if I'm wrong but they record demo-like versions THEN decide which make the cut. Those that make the cut are recorded properly.

If they want to release the rejected ones then they'd have to go back to the studio to record and produce them.
