Does Britney Rely Too Heavily On Studio Tricks For Her Voice?

We get the fact she doesn't sing a live word in so many years...

But why is she smoking cigarettes in the studio when recording, chewing on ice, chewing gum when she's lippin on stage?

She's not even trying to hide the fact that she won't sing anything live or try and belt out her vocals in the studio.

They can process her voice and she will lip to all the robotic vocals, and tracks that are auto tuned as ****.

Nah, auto-tune & melodyne aren't as magical as you think. Homegirl gave her all for Glory, compare the vocals on the new album to Britney Jean's. Alien is a perfect example of "relying too much on studio tricks", the new album is just pure Britney slayage tbh

I agree, she can sing that's why I don't get why she does this.

Glory does have several tuned tracks though.

Private Show is pitched to hell and back and is far more offensive than Alien.

Not really, Goldsoundz himself said there's minimal processing on Glory - sans the pitched vocals on Private Show and What U Need which are still flawless imo

I love what you need.

However if you really listen to the album

Private Show

What You Need

Man On The Moon

Love Me Down

Clumsy

Are very processed.

She does sound amazing on Glory (it's still processed though of course) but she lip synchs more than anybody else ever so I cant help but doubt her vocal ability. I love the way her voice sounds but I don't think it would sound very good live. I mean if you are literally sitting on your *** for a performance of Everytime and still have to lip sync there's obviously a problem lol. I don't care though that's not why I became a fan.
