Roger
The f**king desert performance Britney just had one of the biggest hits of 2013 with Scream & Shout; she was cool again for a lot of people, everyone had the "Britney *****" line in their minds Work ***** was highly anticipated and did not disappoint, it even became a viral hit, there's a reason why it's her most viewed video to this day; but the desert performance ruined everything; Work ***** had amazing sales until the live event on BritneySpears.com started, after that we had the first red updates on Kworb It legit killed the whole era, a lot of stans burned their stan cards after the event and we started the era with the biggest meltdown in Britney's history The desert performance would have changed everything: a live performance of Work ***** (even like performed on the 1st POM show), with the sun rising in the background, in the desert, would have gave us the new iconic moment we all are waiting for since VMA's 2007 and it would have had amazing media coverage since the **** event we had already was reported by all medias outlets If we had a performance like hinted / hyped by the countdown, Britney wouldn't be struggling to get a Top 10 hit and this is the truth of the matter #JusticeForWorkBitch Link to comment
Lou M. Taylor
As far as I know Britney or team never claimed she would do a desert performance, and we all know who is responsible for the drama, meltdowns and stan card turning the era kicked off with. Link to comment
zone
The desert performance never meant to happen, make me video happened and it wasn't what we waited for, the era started with a meltdown and fans were cancelling their Glory copies Link to comment
BoyToySoldier
This wasn't even set in stone though. I agree it would have been a cool thing to do though. Link to comment
DaRealMVP
Well Work ***** is iconic with or without that so talked about performance Link to comment

Yeah let's blame the stans when TMZ and breatheheavy.com confirmed the performance, and when her genius team decided to make a 1 month countdown and planned a 250.000$ event to announce something they already confirmed months earlier I didn't miss y'all britards on here, who NEVER blame Britney for her responsibilities ngl Link to comment

This But I still got the satisfaction that it's one of the few songs from Britney that still gets played on the radio/clubs/gyms. Let's see who remembers slumber party in three years. Link to comment

OCBoy1985
Darhling WB started the downfall 1 its not a good song and the edm craze was pretty much dead by time WB dropped. 2 The song was too explicit for radio to get behind it and the clean version was even worst then the original version. Britney was doing really good on radio from Gimme More up until Work ***** was released! Also Britney nor her team never announced a performance Jordan was the one who did that and the GP knew nothing about this so called performance ... Fact is it flopped because it wasn't a good song and had absolutely no promo whatsoever Link to comment
GetBack98
So Jordan destroyed Britney's career so he had an excuse so as to turn exhale into a pop music forum? 5 minutes ago, OCBoy1985 said: Darhling WB started the downfall 1 its not a good song and the edm craze was pretty much dead by time WB dropped. 2 The song was too explicit for radio to get behind it and the clean version was even worst then the original version. Fact is it flopped because it wasn't a good song and had absolutely no promo whatsoever The song in itself is generic and basic, but it is ******* effective! The beat is infectious. A true bop. I agree with the explicit part, though. It surely reduced it spin power, because Work Work doesn't sound as good. Link to comment
