I wasn't following Britney much after 2004 but I've seen people post here that she used pre-recorded vocals on her 2011 Femme Fatal Tour. Those could've been nominated at the 2016 Grammys. 

I think after 2010 when they cut and merged some of the categories from over 100 down to 84, they removed the category and nomination breakdown from the Internet.

I'm more of a hip hop/R&B music follower and quite a few of the Grammy committee members of that field are very very vocal and do A LOT of talking on hip hop related blogs and vlogs.

Like it's stuff coming out right now about the 2017 Grammys, the first round of voting deadline is November 4 but most people have already seen ballots and casted their votes.

if that's really the list and they don't give adele all the awards, bc let's face it, "glory" is a better and more diverse pop album, britney actually seems to have a chance. not going to happen if beyoncé is nominated for whatever reason

Glory is amazing, but this list makes me nervous to be honest. How many total nominations are there per category? Because I have a pretty high level of confidence that Adele, Sia, and Ariana Grande will receive nominations; also, Bieber doesn't really have the vocals, but his album was so commercially successful that I doubt it will be ignored.

I can see a def pop album nomination if Adele and Bey hadn't released this year. But they should def nominate Make Me in best dance song category and best non classical remixes. I think Glory is strong enough just not best music video

I'm glad it was submitted - as it rightly should be. 

But it appears only FIVE actually receive nominations. And that's quite a list of contenders. I'm not feeling optimistic, tbh.
