Why are we 10 M views behind Shakira when she was the one 1-2 M views behind Britney??? 

Also, how can we correct this and how much do you think we will gain after the CA/ Chicago promo this month?

Shakira's spike is probably due to an influx of south american views. She's a huge latin artist. Just take a look at her YouTube views.

But 10M is a a huge difference, compared to the previous 2M

Her performances won't help unless every single person who attends purchases SP or Glory for both shows, then if streaming picks back up and then radio skyrockets in the next few days but that's all highly unlikely.

If only Britney paid attention to those countries she could have a huge audience in Latin America as well, but usually pop artists in general aren't among those with more views. Usually are people from the "urban music" scene.

2)world cups have given her more coverage around the world

3) she's with maluma...he has a huge fan base in latin america atm

(I personally don't like his shitty music but he's a hottie and that's what sells the most) at the moment so it wouldnt be surprising, so combine: Shakira's fans + Maluma's fans + Latin GP = millions of views

The point is we aren't streaming enough. In the last 24hs, Shakira video had 3,212,182 views (#2) and SP had 849,538 views (#54).
